Turned Pro 2014

  • Chinese prodigy Yuelong recorded his best win of the 2015/16 season at the Champion of Champions event in Coventry. The Chinese teenager beat Stuart Bingham 4-3 in the last 16 before losing out 6-3 to Kyren Wilson in the quarter-finals.
  • Yuelong qualified for that event thanks to sensationally winning the 2015 World Cup alongside Yan Bingtao.
  • The pair formed China’s B team and beat the likes of Australia and Wales before the Scottish duo of John Higgins and Stephen Maguire in the final.
  • Zhou qualified for the pro tour by winning the IBSF World Championship in 2013, at the age of just 15. He beat Zhao Xintong 8-4 in the final in Latvia.
  • In 2013 he reached the quarter-finals of two Asian Tour events.
