  • Jones regained a place on the pro tour in 2016 by winning the European Amateur Championship, beating Jamie Clarke 7-4 in the final in Poland.
  • He reached the final qualifying round for the 2015 World Championship before losing to Ryan Day.
  • The young potter from Cwmbran was crowned 2010 European under 19 champion after a 6-4 victory over Scotland’s Anthony McGill.
  • Jones first started playing snooker aged 11 in Darren Morgan’s Red Triangle Club.
