  • Walker regained his place on the World Snooker Tour thanks to his performances in the European Tour events in 2015/16.
  • The Welshman made it to the last 32 of three European Tour events throughout the season.
  • He also went on a run to the last 32 of the 2016 China Open, knocking out Ding Junhui along the way, causing the Chinese superstar to need to qualify for the World Championship.
  • He earned a place on the main tour for the first time in six years by coming through Q School in 2014, after beating Joe O’Connor in the final round of event two.
  • Walker was a regular face on the pro circuit between 1994 and 2008 and climbed to 42nd in the world.
  • He is also an official WPBSA World Snooker coach and makes regular trips to Sweden to train young players.
