The highlight of Robin Hull’s career so far undoubtedly came at the 2016 Snooker Shoot-Out. The Finnish potter beat Judd Trump, Mark Williams and Luca Brecel on his way to lifting the title in Reading.
Hull went on a run to the last 32 of the 2015 UK Championship,his best ranking event showing in 2015/16. He beat Zhang Anda and Barry Hawkins, before eventually losing to Brecel.
He climbed into the top 64 of the world after a series of strong performances in the 2014/15 season.
Hull reached the quarter-finals of the Wuxi Classic and the last 16 of the China Open.
Finland’s top player then qualified for the final stages of the World Championship for the second consecutive year. He won three matches to make it to the Crucible before losing to Shaun Murphy.
The former World Under-21 champion is known as a prolific break-builder, though he did miss the black on 140 when set for a 147 in the 1999 World Championship qualifiers.
