Best Ranking Performance Last 32, Australian Goldfields Open 2014
Money list earnings 2012/13 + 2013/14 £26,462
Highfield had a poor 2013/14 season and was relegated from the main tour at the end of it. However he bounced straight back via Q School, beating Alex Pagulayan 4-2 in the final round of event two.
"When I first got on to the tour four years ago, I took it for granted and just assumed that I would be there for life," he said. "Since then it has been a downward spiral. But now I feel confident again and I am a much better player now. This a chance to draw a line under the last four years and start again."
And Highfield made a strong start to the 2014/15 season by reaching the last 32 of a full ranking event for the first time at the Australian Goldfields Open.
In 2010 he reached the semi-finals of Euro Players Tour Championship event four in Gloucester. He beat former World Champion Graeme Dott in the quarter-finals before losing to Stephen Maguire.
Highfield finished second on the Pontin's International Open Series in 2009/10. He won the second of eight PIOS events, beating Neal Jones 6-2 in the final.
Highfield is a keen long distance runner and enjoys competing in half marathons.
