Grace had a fantastic season in 2015/16, the highlight of which was a run all the way to the semi-finals of the 2015 UK Championship, where he lost out in a tightly contested match with Liang Wenbo.
He also reached the quarter-finals of the Gibraltar Open, beating the likes of Stephen Maguire and Peter Ebdon, before again losing out to Wenbo.
Those runs helped Grace move to 60th in the world. After a poor 2014/15 season, where he only won one match, had seen him slip to 111th.
The Yorkshireman booked his place on the 2011/12 circuit via Q School. He beat China’s Zhang Anda 4-1 in the final round of event one, knocking in breaks of 71, 128 and 57.
Away from the table, he is a keen artist and paints portraits of leading snooker players.
